Designer Handbag Spot

Think about when the last time you didn’t check your Facebook account at least once during the day. It’s on your computer at home, your work laptop, and you of course have the app on your phone. You probably have checked it 10 times so far just today. It’s just a part of our life now, but really it was only a few years ago that none of use were using it, it didn’t exist.

There are few things that come along that have that kind of effect that quickly where they are such a large part of your life you don’t think about it, but only a few short years/months ago you never thought about them. I think women’s handbags are exactly this kind of thing as well. Of course they existed a few years ago, but they weren’t nearly as popular as they are now. It wasn’t that long ago that a handbag was handbag and sure you wanted it to look nice, but as long as it worked it was something extra and you could live with it. Now it seems like some of the handbag designers today have gotten to where you outfit for a special occasion might start with the handbag and then find a dress to match it.

Now don’t take this to mean I’m complaining. I love handbags as much as anyone and just like Facebook, its hard to remember when handbags were no big deal to me, even though it was really only a few years ago (maybe ten or so). I love all types of handbags and like to try to have at least a few designs from each year. I have friends that will sell last years designs so they can finance their purchase of the current models. I know I should probably do the same but in the end I can never actually part with them so I keep them all. It might just be an obsession!

So whether you are just looking to invest in one quality handbag or you are like a Jessica Simpson who can’t go to the convenience store without carrying the right bag, don’t fight it. You either all ready know it or are going to learn it, handbags are everything!
